Qi Gong, Community Dinner, Pre-breakfast meditation -

Bonfire and Community Dinner

Saturday evening: Bonfire and share your talents.  If you are with us on Saturday, it would be really nice if you would stay for dinner and join us round the fire, if you sing or play an instrument please share the joy of music with the rest of us.  

 

If you are joining us on Sunday and want to arrive early on Saturday evening for dinner and fire time, we’d love to see you then too.  

 

Both the dinner on Saturday and on Sunday are included in the price because we consider this part of community-building.

 

Sunday evening: we will organize a mindful film or discussion on a specific area of interest.

Pre-Breakfast

Early risers or early arrivers, you are welcome to join us for: 0730 early morning Qigong (on the back lawn) or sitting practice (in the main room which gets glorious morning sun).

Breakfast:  Served at 0800

 

 

Other mindfulness activities

There will be other opportunities throughout the day to be mindful in other ways:

  • Journalling: using the written word to look at ourselves and our practice;
  • Walking in nature: how can we connect more deeply with the natural world around us;
  • Qigong: a gentle Chinese system of movement that wakes us up and brings us into our bodies.

These will be run on an ad hoc basis so just sign up or join in on the day.
